Start-up grows and is looking for Danish acoustic and FPGA/DSP engineers

Being one of the first international start-ups selected for the SoundTech Accelerator Program, one of the first to establish a Danish limited liability (ApS) company, one of the first to make use of our Sound lab as well as nearby craft cluster of companies – the Swiss-founded AVAtronics is now also the first to hire employees in Denmark.

AVAtronics, a fast-scaling international company with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) projects, and customers/partners in very diverse fields of applications: High-rise elevators, high-speed trains, road noise cancellation in cars and in-ear headphones; is now ready to set their footprint in Denmark.

Having benefited from an introduction to the Danish sound network, started up a collaboration with one of the companies from the nearby Complementary Craft Cluster on prototyping, and having spent hours in our Sound Lab facilities, AVAtronics has recently closed their first round of financing.

We have been able to help AVAtronics by giving them access to our facilities, especially the Quiet Room with the GRAS equipment and we’re pleased they have been able to reach their absolute theoretical minimum level in internal microphones due to this. We are also delighted to see that start-ups find the Danish workforce and sound network relevant for their growth,

states Peter Petersen, CEO of Sound Hub Denmark.

The first employee already hired

AVAtronics has hired their first Danish employee for their office at Sound Hub Denmark in Struer. Finn Møller is a software/hardware engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in SIC microelectronics, Digital Signal Processing, FPGA design, Embedded Software, Hardware and RF. He lives in Silkeborg, one hour’s drive from Struer and heard about the vacant position via his LinkedIn network.

I love the international setup here, the passion and innovative spirit that thrive in such an environment. It’s really inspiring and a place, where I feel I can be the best version of myself. When I heard about it, I just said to myself, I have to be part of this, so there was not much more to think about,

explains Finn Møller, Senior DSP/FPGA Design Engineer, AVAtronics ApS.

Looking for experienced acoustic engineers … and more FPGA/DSP design engineers

Finn is the first of several highly skilled professionals that AVAtronics is looking for. If you are an experienced acoustic or FPGA/DSP design engineer interested in working in a fast scaling international company, dealing in ANC projects and with partners in lifts, trains, cars and in-ear headphone solutions, you may be the perfect match for AVAtronics and the new colleague of Finn Møller in Sound Hub Denmark.

Sound Hub Denmark is truly a hub for acoustic start-ups to reach partners, talent and suppliers. It was a logical choice for AVAtronics to establish a local entity here and benefit from this unique audio-centric ecosystem,

states CEO and Co-Founder of AVAtronics, Jeyran Hezaveh.
