SoundTech Founder in Residence

A 60-day residency you who want to build the next generation of sound technology companies.
Hosted at Sound Hub Denmark in Struer – City of Sound – the residency invites curious builders, entrepreneurs, engineers, designers, and researchers from around the world to explore what it takes and how to build a music- or soundtech startup. That includes everything; from idea to validated concept—and from idea-stage individual to startup founder.
The residency is, like an incubator, designed for people who are early in their journey: you may have an idea, a technology, research results, or simply a strong ambition to build something meaningful within sound.
The participation fee is 15,000 DKK / €2.000 for the full 60-day residency.
For 60 days, you will live and work in one of the world’s most unique sound ecosystems, surrounded by sound professionals, companies, and other founders.
This is not a traditional school or accelerator.
It is a space for exploration, experimentation, and learning towards company creation.
Through hands-on building, peer learning, mentorship, and deep engagement with the sound community, participants develop ideas into the early foundations of a company.

Weeks 1–2: Understand and validate the problem
Weeks 3–4: Explore and build validated solutions
Weeks 5–6: Test and model the business
Weeks 7–8: Define the company and next steps
