Master EMC Design
– From Component Physics to Reliable Electronics

Seminar with Würth Elektronik

Sound Hub Denmark

Unlock the secrets of EMC design and learn how to choose the right components to build electronics that work reliably the first time – before compliance testing even begins

Join us for a hands-on seminar with Würth Elektronik and learn how to approach EMC design from a component perspective – enabling better decisions, fewer iterations, and more robust electronics.

EMC is often approached as a final compliance step – yet the real leverage lies in understanding and designing for EMC from the beginning.

In collaboration with Würth Elektronik, Sound Hub invites you to a technical seminar that takes a different perspective on EMC:
Starting from the components themselves, their physical behaviour, and how they influence your overall system performance. By building a deeper understanding of magnetic fields, material properties, and noise mechanisms, you will gain the tools needed to make better design decisions earlier in your development process.

The main presenter will be Field Application Manager, Henning Bomberg from the FAE Group Scandinavia at Würth Elektronik.

What you will learn

This seminar bridges theory and application, giving you both the fundamental understanding and practical tools to improve your EMC design.

You will gain insight into how electromagnetic behaviour originates at the component level and propagates through your system. We will explore how common mode and differential mode noise behave in real applications, and how this directly impacts your choice of components and layout. With a strong focus on real-world design, you will learn how to work with ferrites, chokes, filters, and system impedance – helping you reduce development risk, minimise redesigns, and optimise performance.

The session is interactive, with room for questions and discussion of your own design challenges.

This seminar is ideal for engineers, hardware developers, embedded system designers, PCB designers, and technical specialists who want to strengthen their understanding of EMC and make more informed component choices early in the design process.

After the seminar, specialists from Würth Elektronik will be available for informal dialogue and the opportunity to discuss specific design cases.
